Mayfield SS - Track & Field

RKA was retained by the Peel District School Board to lead the design and contract administration for a major track and field renewal at Mayfield Secondary School — upgrading a site that no longer met the programming demands of the school and surrounding community.

Working with a multi-disciplinary team including civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical engineers, RKA delivered a comprehensive design featuring an 8-lane rubberized running track, LED-lit synthetic turf field, proposed air dome structure, and dedicated field event facilities. The team led stakeholder and public engagement throughout the design process, secured TRCA approval, and successfully tendered the project and administered the construction.
