RKA was retained by the York Region District School Board and the City of Vaughan to lead the full design and contract administration for the redevelopment of Emily Carr Secondary School's athletic facilities — replacing an aging natural turf field and track with a new artificial turf sports field, 6-lane rubberized running track, and LED sports lighting system.
Working with our civil and electrical engineering team, RKA delivered a complete design and tender package that achieved a competitive bid within budget and on schedule. Through active contract administration, we managed the construction process from site reviews to deficiency resolution — delivering a high-quality facility that continues RKA's strong track record of completing school board athletic projects on or under budget.
