RK & Associates provided detailed design, tendering, and construction administration for the schoolyard revitalization at Dublin Heights Elementary and Middle School — transforming the outdoor spaces into dynamic, nature-inspired learning and play environments.
The project delivered a new kindergarten and daycare play space featuring synthetic turf, natural play elements, sand play, a hill slide, chalkboards, a stage, and varied seating — all designed in close consultation with school and daycare staff. A refreshed senior playground with synthetic turf safety surfacing and an outdoor classroom with harvest tables rounds out the facility. Throughout, the design carefully preserved the site's mature tree canopy, maintaining valuable shade across the schoolyard.
