Barney Danson Park

RKA was retained by the City of Markham to deliver full design and contract administration for a new urban park within a recently completed development. The park features an inclusive all-ages playground, shade structure, and passive seating areas, all enclosed by a glass wind wall to improve the microclimate comfort within the park space.

RKA guided the project from concept to construction, producing 3D renderings to support public consultation and refining the design based on community feedback before advancing to detailed design and delivery.
