Paris Downtown Streetscape

RK & Associates partnered with a multi-disciplinary project team led by JL Richards & Associates to reimagine the Grand River Street downtown streetscape in Paris, Ontario for the County of Brant.

The redesigned streetscape converts angled parking to parallel parking bays, widens the pedestrian boulevard, and introduces new street furniture and lighting — creating a more walkable, inviting downtown experience. New planter areas with subsurface soil cells provide the soil volume needed to support the long-term health and growth of newly planted street trees, ensuring the streetscape continues to mature and thrive for decades to come.
