Personal Profile
Mark is a business professional that has taken pride over the years in the design, tender and construction administration in many high-quality sports facilities in Ontario. He has over 16 years’ experience specializing in the design of sport fields, running tracks and overall sports facility amenities. Mark has over 30 years management experience in this industry and in his previous endeavors.
With over 100 sports infrastructure designs, Mark has developed an understanding of the sports industry and a reputation for being aware of the current markets, products, and industry trends. Value engineering and budget control are important aspects of Mark’s business acumen.
For the past 11 years Mark Klementti has been an active participant in The Synthetic Turf Council (STC). Meetings are held twice yearly in different locations in North America and focus on the synthetic turf industry trends and design strategies. The STC provides participants with up to date knowledge and an opportunity to network with industry professionals to further gather information for design strategies. The STC also provides the industry with a base of knowledge through studies and research information. Mark has acted as the chairman of the STC Membership Committee and has sat on the programming committee and the recycle/reuse committee with the STC.
Mark also spent 4 years as a member a member of the Board of Directors of the Synthetic Turf Council including 1 year as the vice-chair.
Mark spends time with family and friends and is involved with the charity organization “Guys That Give”.
